If your dancer will miss class, let us know please, we do like to know if your dancer is sick, or missing for another reason.
Please be sure we have contact information for ALL adults that may be dropping off/picking up your dancer, in case we need to reach them while your dancer is with us at the studio.Make sure that all contact information is updated regularly, including phone numbers and email addresses. Let us know if you need help updating the information in your portal.

FOR TEAM

Remember all team members should be getting outside activities approved BEFORE beginning them. This includes school plays, school clubs, etc, even if you don’t think there will be a conflict with dates.

Remember if your dancer wants more training/opportunities they can come to extra rehearsals for groups they are not currently cast in. All petite/performance/comp/elite team members are able to do this with no extra fee etc. We also have drop-in passes for team members if your dancer wants to come to extra classes/training during the normal week schedule. Ask for more info!
IF YOUR DANCER MISSES A MANDATORY DAY OF DANCE DUE TO ILLNESS/FAMILY EMERGENCY, THEY (YOU) are RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING CAUGHT UP THE BEST YOU CAN BY USING VIDEOS/GETTING WITH A FRIEND AND COMING UP TO USE THE STUDIO ON THE WEEKEND TO PRACTICE ETC. Every day is the audition! everyday is where we make decisions for casting/roles

Attendance
As a reminder, dancers need to be IN the studio and READY for class on time. If they are walking in the building AT 4 or AT 5, then they will be missing the beginning of their classes and are missing important instruction. Please be sure they are arriving a few minutes early so they have time to get their shoes on and get their belongings put away before class starts. And as always, be sure to send us a message if they will be late. Dancers should be in the building AT LEAST 5 minutes before their scheduled time.
IF YOUR DANCER IS SICK PLEASE LET US KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN THE MORNINGS (preferably by 9:30 AM. ) We will need to take their (possible) absence into consideration in making our lesson plans in the morning Remember dancers should be here watching if not feeling well/injured as the initial goal and only staying home completely if extremely ill.
Payments:
Parents, be sure to put your payment dates in your calendar so your payments don’t decline! If your payment HAS declined, be sure to update your information in the system asap, as it will try again..
If your payment is declined, you’ll receive an email to update your information, and a retry will occur in a few days. Please do not log in for a manual payment, as it won’t stop the automatic attempt.
Effective communication is key! If you expect any payment issues, inform us in advance. It’s easier to pause the draft than to handle multiple declines. If your payment declines, please contact us and don’t wait for us to reach out to you before saying anything.
For repeated declines, we may need to discuss switching to a lower team level to reduce financial commitment before the competition season.
Remember the tuition and performance fees are PRIORITY and no optional events or extras should be paid for if normal studio fees are not being kept up with easily.
CHECK THESE LINKS FOR UPDATES OFTEN!
While we will try to inform you of any new updates, you should still be checking the links here or in your app often to make sure you haven’t missed any important updates or announcements.
ESPRIT GEAR
Moving forward, please ask for permission and clearance before making, designing, or ordering anything with studio name/logo/brand etc on it. There are certain things that are perfectly fine, and other items I do not want parents making on their own/ordering so please talk to me first!
CHECK YOUR SCHEDULES AND CASTING! DO NOT MISS YOUR REHEARSALS/ARRIVE LATE!
