Dear Esprit Families,
The health and safety of our students and faculty has been, and and will always be, our first priority. As COVID-19 comes closer to us here in Polk County, we have been closely monitoring local and state regulations, conditions, and closings.
After considering all of the factors, we have decided to follow the lead of Polk County School Board and government recommendations and close the studio to all recreational classes for next week, March 16 to March 20. The studio was already scheduled to be closed for Spring Break. We will re-evaluate the situation and update all our dance families to confirm when classes will resume. Right now, we’re planning to resume normal class schedules on March 30.
Our staff is working hard to determine a plan for make-up classes closer to recital time, and we will be adding more recital choreography and training videos for students to continue their practice. Now is a great time to practice all your choreography, work on strength and conditioning, and STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH!
As this rapidly changing situation evolves, we ask for your patience and grace as we make plans to best serve you and your children. In the meantime, recital dates remain unchanged.
Please continue to check your email in the coming days and weeks for any updates from us. We will be posting extra lessons and music on the website for practice and dancing at home!
For those who haven’t logged onto our website or need help accessing the videos, check out this helpful instruction page.
Thank you for taking the appropriate steps with us to lessen the risk to our community as much as possible. We greatly appreciate your support during these challenging times.
Thank you!
