Loved Ones Dance!
We’re going to be having our Loved Ones dance at our recital again this year, and all dancers aged 4 and above can participate with their fathers or other caregiver if dad isn’t available. We will hold rehearsals on Fridays 8-9pm. If you can’t make EVERY single rehearsal please still sign up, as you will be able to still be involved as long as you’re able to be at the majority.
Although preference is for fathers to participate with their child, other significant family members (ideally grandpa/ uncle/ adult brother etc.) are welcome to join if dad is not available:)
What Is Involved in the Loved Ones Dance?
We’ll start rehearsals and practices in the studio in April, with the first practice likely 11th or 18th. The theme is TBD, and will be a really simple, fun choreography that everyone can do, so give it a try! Great bonding time for parents and children!
You’ll be required to attend the Mandatory Dress Rehearsal and will be performing the dance in both recital shows, Saturday and Sunday.
Register on the parent portal! There is no cost to attend/perform, but we do need everyone to register in order to be included/counted for the choreography.
Important Dates
- Mandatory Dress Rehearsal – June 6, parent will be able to leave once we’ve rehearsed Loved Ones. This will be the night that parents will be able to photo/ video any performances.
- Recital Night – June 7, call time likely around 4-4:30.
- Recital Matinee – June 8, call time likely around 1:00 pm.
